Bradley Smith: “My goal is to be the world champion this year"

Bradley Smith

spashion.com did an interview with Bradley Smith, Tech3 Moto2 rider. Speaking about his riding, Smith told that he like to push the bike out from his comfort zone. Basically, rider will ride on the limit that they are able to. But for Smith, it's a boring. He try to go further and beyond.

“For every race, from the start to the finish line, you have to put in 105%,” Smith says. “Sometimes that means you’ll crash because you’re going beyond your limit but unless you go above your limit you’re not going to be fast enough.”

“My goal is to be the world champion this year. To sign off on that chapter on my racing career and then go onto MotoGP,” he says.

Bradley Smith feels lucky grew up on the racing family. Her mother have so much passion about racing and could take it away. His father is a keen motocross rider who owns and runs a motocross track in Oxforshire.

Little talk about his childhood, “I was told that until I was six I wasn’t allowed [to ride a motorbike] so as soon as it was nearly my birthday I slipped it into conversation, “I’m nearly six, can I have a motorbike?” says Bradley with his get-anything smile. “Suddenly there was shear panic on my dad’s face. But by Christmas I had one.”
