Week of testing for Ducati and Nicky Hayden at Mugello, Italy

Ducati Test Mugello 2012

The American Nicky Hayden and Ducati Test Team will be rolling on the Italian circuit of Mugello for three days this week, to improve the time obtained by the Texas pre-season. Hayden dragged a long injury from the Valencia Grand Prix last year it has lost much pace so far and more, last December, also suffered a training accident that aggravated her physical discomfort and mainly psychological.

In this test, which began Wednesday and will run until Friday morning, former pilot of Dirt Track will have the opportunity to work on the completion of his Desmosedici GP12 and tests and maneuvers that could not complete before the season this year.

In addition there will be at Mugello Franco Battaini, the test driver of Ducati, who on Tuesday of this week is rolling on the Italian bike in order to outline the final details of the GP12. As usual, all changes, updates and recommendations proposed by this legendary Italian rider, will be reviewed and tested by two official Ducati riders. Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden, therefore, have a lot of work outside of the major prizes for solving all problems that are acquired by the brand new Audi.

Hopefully the talent, the constant work and effort of these two wonderful pilots is enough for Ducati and be put to better fight the top of the grid in the next Grand Prix remaining.
