Bridgestone will changes the front tyre to the new specification after Silverstone race. Both Repsol Honda's riders, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa were not agree. Since Jerez GP, Bridgestone provided new specification tires for riders. Cal Crutchlow, Alvaro Bautista, Stefan Bradl, Valentino Rossi, and Hector Barbera used this new specification. Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Dovizioso, and Ben Spies used this new type on Estoril race.
According to Motocuatro, after the Jerez test, most riders said that the new tire (actually for 2013) was better than the 2012 specification. Because it more secure and stronger on corner entry. One rider that now satisfied with the new spec was Casey Stoner (Dani Pedrosa didn't test the new spec on Jerez test). Dani Pedrosa was tried this new front spec tyre on Estoril free practice session, and Pedrosa told that RC213V is much better with the 2012.
