Max Neukirchner will come to Le Mans with left hand injury. The recovery progress was not good as expected.
Max Neukirchner got the injury on Qatar GP qualification session. Max still had the pain on Jerez and Estoril which made him came to the M.E. Dr. Manfred was provide diagnosis for Max, multiple fracture of the carpal bones on the left hand.
According to the Kiefer Racing website, Max will still race on Le Mans (with pain). Max said, "Together with Dr. and Dr. Copper Zokov, I've been looking for the best way to go at the next race at the start, otherwise I would have to pause at least until the Sachsenring."
Max continue, "We now have a compromise with a splint that would allow me to race anyway. I hope the whole thing does not represent an excessive impairment for me"
