Double bad result from Ben Spies on first 2 race was make confuse. Spies told that he is not sure, what happen there. Before the race at Jerez, Spies told that the bad result on the Qatar GP was about the two crashes that he had on practice session. So the bike was not on good performance.
Facing Jerez last week, Spies also didn't get a good result. “I don’t really know what happened, I got off to a pretty good start from the line but after that I didn’t have a good feeling with the bike, it was a pretty pathetic race really for me." said Spies.
He also told, "I’ve apologized to the team and we’ve had a long meeting about what I was feeling with the bike. I just wasn’t comfortable, I rode as hard as I could but the speed just wasn’t there. We need to find something because we can see the Yamahas are working well but my feeling with the bike is not great. It was a bad day at the office today.”
So Spies need to build chemistry between to get the feel again. Still no comment from Spies about the speculation that said Rossi will back to Yamaha.
