Third Pole Give Confidence for Marquez on Race

Marc Marquez Le Mans 2012

At cruising speed, Marc Marquez marked the fastest time in qualifying the French Grand Prix, earning his third pole in a row, the tenth in Moto2 and 24 of his career.

Marquez said, "It was a strange pole, because during the whole session there have been times when it rained with different intensity. Always sparkled a little, so I never know whether to force end."

He continue, "However we could do a quick lap at first, it was important. Halfway through the training I have come out with new tires and went even faster, but I braked too late in the sixth curve. I knew I would get cast but I tried anyway and I've seen that can not be. The end it was only a scare. I could get the bike repaired and back out. I turned to go fast and make good times, so I'm confident for tomorrow."
