Michele Pirro was satisfied with the Catalunya test. They were trying out some adjustments to his CRT machine and new tyres.
Pirro said, “The test was positive and we have found solutions with the front that should be a significant help in the near future. I am happy and satisfied with all the progress that we have been making recently. The fastest lap time could even have been better, because we clocked it on tyres with 18 laps on them already."
He continue, "I am convinced that with fresh rubber we could have got the best CRT time of the day. It is nonetheless good for us, because we know that we can do it. Now we roll on to Aragón for a second test, at which we will look to take a further step forward with Silverstone in line. It is important for us to put miles on the clock, to keep developing a bike that is coming along very well.”
Pirro will do an electronic configuration test on the Aragon on Wednesday, and they hope for an improvement of the bike to get a best CRT.
