Kallio targeting top five finish at the Silverstone circuit this weekend. To achieve the target, Kallio need to focus on the qualifying session at least on the front three row. Kallio was on the first place on 2008 Silverstone 250cc race, but last year, he didn't finish on the wet Silverstone race.
Kallio said, "The plan this weekend is simple; we need to focus on qualifying. We know from the last few races that we have a good race set-up, but we also saw in Barcelona that when you qualify so far back on the grid your race is already destroyed. In the past we've chased a better set-up in practice, but this has meant the bike felt different every time I exited pit lane and that doesn't inspire the confidence needed to push to the limit in qualifying."
Kallio said again, "This weekend we'll limit set-up changes to Friday morning and then use the remaining practice sessions to build my confidence in the bike ahead of qualifying. I don't need to be on pole, but if I'm to aim for the top five in the race then I certainly need to be starting from the front three rows."
