After a complicated weekend at the Italian GP two weeks ago, Colin Edwards gets back in the points finishing the race in 13th position at the U.S. GP in Laguna Seca.
All the hard work done throughout the weekend by the Texan rider and the NGM Mobile Forward-Racing Team have allowed them to come up with important solutions, that could be key to a better performance in the upcoming rounds starting with Indianapolis in three weeks time.
Edwards is currently 17th in the championship’s general standing as of right now with a total of 11 points, close to the Pasini´s ART and James Ellison.

“Me, De Puniet and Espargaro were the only ones that have been here before. I expected the other CRT guys to have more trouble learning the track. We tried many different thing which made the bike seemed easier to ride. At the end of the day our electronics are still at a developing stage and it makes it hard because it cuts so much power. Right now we are at a point where it’s hard to make significant improvements. Lets hope that what we have found here benefits us at Indy in a few weeks.”
