Tomorrow, at 6:30 p.m., the book "Team Italia 1985 – 2012: The story goes on" will be presented on the Gold Terrace of the central standings in Mugello. Written to celebrate the first 27 years of the Italian Motorcycling Federation's team, the book features stories, anecdotes and images of the riders who have worn the FMI colors through the years.
The riders who have won World and European titles will be awarded. Fausto Gresini, Luca Cadalora, Bruno Casanova, Fausto Ricci, Alessio Corradi, Lorenzo Alfonsi, Claudio Macciotta, Emilio Cuppini, Alberto Rota and Gabriele Debbia will attend.
They will be joined by the young talents racing this year: Romano Fenati, Luigi Morciano, Michael Rinaldi, Alessandro Tonucci (all racing in Moto3) and Lorenzo Savadori, Eddi La Marra, Riccardo Russo, Luca Vitali, Manuel Pagliani, and Paolo Fuligni.
During the event, the FMI will also present a special fairing, with which Fenati and Tonucci will race during the week-end, to celebrate the event and the partnership (sealed last May) between FMI and Mugello Circuit.
The event will be launched by The Rainband, the English band that dedicated Rise Again to Marco Simoncelli. The song is available for download on iTunes and similar providers. All the proceedings will to the Marco Simoncelli Foundation (www.marcosimoncellifondazione.it).
