Team Italia FMI warms-up the engines in Mugello

Fenati sets the second-best time while Tonucci is 23rd. Positive debut for wild-card Rinaldi.

Romano Fenati was the first rider to break the two-minute wall during free practice, with a personal best of 1'59"990 that puts him in provisional first row, 0.3'' behind Viñales. Alessandro Tonucci worked on the setup, closing the day with the 23rd time in 2'01"491. 

Wild-card Micheal Ruben Rinaldi (who competes in the CIV Moto3 championship with Team Italia) posted the 22nd best time at his debut in the world stage with a 2'01"447.

"We tweaked a few things in the morning and I tried to match the pace of the front runners in the afternoon, but unfortunately I wasn't able to. I still think I can do well during qualifiers."
