Sandro Cortese has signed a two-year contract with the new German Moto2 team, Intact GP, to contest the intermediate-class in 2013. Cortese and Intact GP will use Kalex chassis for the 2013 season with Juergen Lingg as the crew chief. Intact is a battery company from German and also Cortese's personal sponsor for this year on Moto3 class, and now they build their own team for Moto2 class with Sandro Cortese as the rider.
Sandro Cortese
"I am really happy to be making the switch to Moto2. With Juergen Lingg and Intact I’ll have one of the most professional teams in the Motorcycle World Championship at my side from 2013, which will focus solely on me for the first two years. I think this is the best thing that can happen to me! However, right now, I am focusing primarily on the Moto3 World Championship title."
