Yamaha Factory Racing is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with IVECO for 2013 as an Official Sponsor to the team.
The five final rounds of the 2012 MotoGP season highlighted the success of the current partnership with the Yamaha Factory Racing team carrying a special logo on the tail of the YZR-M1 to celebrate the IVECO Stralis Hi-Way receiving the important award for 2013 Truck of the Year.
This renewal marks the sixth year of collaboration between the team and the premium industrial vehicle manufacturer.
IVECO’s involvement provides key support for the team in the form of four new IVECO Stralis Hi-Way units to transport Yamaha Factory Racing to all European races through 2013.
The IVECO logo will appear on both Yamaha Factory Racing riders' YZR-M1s as well as on all team equipment.
Lin Jarvis - Managing Director, Yamaha Motor Racing
“As an important partner for Yamaha Factory Racing this is a very welcome continuation of a collaboration started in 2008.
We have won four World Titles together with IVECO, and are pleased they will continue to be an important partner with us, providing us with our team's essential transport needs.
We are looking forward to not only a great season ahead together in 2013 but also to strengthening the relationship with IVECO through a number of initiatives at GP circuits and also away from race weekends.”
Alberto Cavaggioni - Marketing Director, Iveco S.p.A.
"This initiative is a great opportunity for Iveco to increase its global visibility, while communicating our involvement and enthusiasm in the world of sport.
This renewed partnership with Yamaha is in-line with Iveco’s international vision and the constant search for initiatives that promote the values of reliability, team spirit, innovation, technology and commitment to achieve challenging results which are shared by both Iveco and professional sports”.
