Simone Corsi has closed the Moto2 race in 7th position at 4.317 from the winner Pol Espargaro. He started well from the pole position leading the race for the first two laps. Then began a duel with Marquez, Espargaro and Iannone for the victory with many overtakes. At five laps to the end Espargaro force the pace and get a little gap that he has defended untill the end, while Corsi made a mistake at Turn 12 going down to the 9th position. He pushed hard trying to reach the podium group but he finished the race in 7th position.

“I’m very diasappointed my target was the podium instead I did a mistake at Turn 12 and I have lost the leading group. I want to say thank you to my team for their great job, we were very competitive for all the week end aslo if we have suffered less power during the rece than our opponents”.
