“It was a great first session. I have to say that I never expected to go so well. The track is fantastic, I enjoyed it right from the start, I think I manage to defend myself quite well, putting a few riders behind me. We were mainly focused on putting the laps in and nothing else, the goal was to acquire data and experience. My lines are obviously different from those of the other riders, because they are still linked to my Moto2 style, but I am not afraid to open the throttle. Now I am ready for the second free practice session.”
