Abraham to test injured shoulder in Misano before decision about further medical treatment

Karel Abraham comes back to Misano after forced break due to his injured shoulder. The main aim of the Czech rider is to take part of the entire racing weekend and try the condition of his injured shoulder under complete stein. 

Abraham underwent another medical examination that revealed original diagnosis-bruised shoulder was not exact. After an MRI doctors discovered that injury to the rider suffered after falling in Indianapolis, is more serious. „The shoulder shows symptoms of the tear of joint capsule. The priority is conservative solution but if it wont be effective, it will be necessary to proceed to surgery,“ said Igor Čižmář, chief of Traumatology department of the University Hospital Olomouc and specialist in hand injuries, elbow and shoulder, who operated Karel Abraham´s wrist after his injury in 2010 and with whom the rider consulted collarbone injury after Austin.

Karel Abraham said: 
"The condition of my injured shoulder has not become better as we expected. We have decided that I will try to manage all racing weekend without any diminishing of pain and than we will see. Misano is very tough and technical track, so if the injury won´t limit me here I should handle rest of the season. After the weekend we'll decide to continue with rehabilitation or to undergo surgery. In this case we would have to decided if I would underwent the surgery immediately or at the end of the season.“ Abraham outlined the fact that recovery from surgery would take several months so he will do everything possible to avoid surgery"
