Stefan Bradl was extremely pleased with his qualifying display at Losail on Saturday as the German rider secured a spot on the third row of the grid for his debut premier class race.
The 2011 Moto2™ World Champion put in an impressive display in his first MotoGP QP, and is looking forward to getting the 2012 season underway.
Stefan Bradl:
"This was a good qualifying for us as our target was the third row. When I looked at the time I realised we were close to P6, and this is good for the race. We lapped on soft tyres probably more than the others, but for me it was not easy to use every single tyre. Initially you feel you can push more and more but you must focus on accelerating in the correct manner. We also improved the overall package and I am looking forward to racing with the top riders. My aim is to follow them and learn as much as possible."
