Good performance of the team drivers 40 HP Tuenti Pons in the second official day of practice for the Grand Prix of Spain MotoGP/Moto2, with the first row for Pol Espargaró, the third for Tito Rabat and the ninth for Axel Pons.
Pol Espargaró got third place and for the first time since the first row of the grid of Moto2, improving fourth three weeks ago on tasting. "This is my best result in a Moto2 training and will be important to address the race from the front row. I am very happy because how was your weekend so far, as I have been very fast in all training, both in water and dry. In qualifying we used the set of IRTA, but after two days of water cost me a little catch up. Gradually I have been improving and finally I have been fighting for pole. I've improved in a tasting classification, a training complex for the third quarter was very complicated and you played in each round you fall. Tito Rabat
"I'm happy because the seventh place in the third row of the grid are good to deal with the Grand Prix. I have good pace, both dry and wet and I think I'm ready to go back to get in the lead group. I struggled a bit with vibrations, but eventually I succeeded and I think if I had stopped once more for tires could have been a little higher. Tomorrow I hope fight the best to be up in front of the fans."
Axel Pons
"I am not satisfied on qualifying and my grid position. I think I could have done more, but I have a hard time pick up the pace and this has hurt me to have rained in the three previous rounds. Tomorrow I will have a good start to gain ground and fight to be as close as possible to the area of the points. I hope it does not rain or if it does that is consistent, because today there were many wetlands that did not give any confidence and made it very difficult to ride the edge."
