De Angelis 7th and Yuki improves at Le Mans

Yuki Takahashi Le Mans 2012

The improvements in the NGM Mobile Forward Racing Moto2 Team continue for both Alex De Angelis and Yuki Takahashi, making it the best qualifying session up to date this season for both riders.

For the rider from San Marino the feeling on his Suter bike is particularly positive, while his best lap time is less than a second away from Marquez´s best lap time, which makes the team very hopeful for tomorrow’s GP. Yuki is still in search of the good setting for his bike and the arrival of the rain has not allowed him to take full advantage of today’s qualifying session, that could have ended on a more positive note.

Alex De Angelis – 7th (1´38.662)
“It was a really good qualifying session, the setup is really different to the ones we have used up to now. We tried something new halfway through the session and after only two laps with traffic I realized that it as the right setup for me. Today we actually had the best qualifying session so far. It was a pity that it started raining and that I didn’t get the chance to go out with the new tires. I have to say that even if we are improving one small step at a time the trend is positive, we continue to work hard.”

Yuki Takahashi – 20th (1´39.315)
“Today we found a very good solution for the future, I’ve been feeling very good. Until now it was hard for us to go fast, today’s position is not great but we are very happy because we found how to be. From now we have to try many things and we will see how fast we can be tomorrow for the race.”
