The Team JiR and Johann Zarco have had a good first day of testing the French Grand Prix. The twenty-one years old driver has used both sessions today to develop a good grip on his MotoBI and to find an effective leadership style that can fit well with the engine and circuit.

"In the first session I felt comfortable with the bike, but I know that my MotoBI was quite right so it's a problem of finding the most effective way to interpret this track is not so easy. In the afternoon I was ready to go out and get better, but after Portugal is difficult to stay in the slipstream of someone because they are more afraid now, they know that if I'm behind I can be very fast. I've seen Marquez in front of me and I wanted to follow him, but when I moved in a curve to pass another rider we touched and we have fallen, so I lost a bit 'of time in the pits.
The guys did an excellent job repairing my MotoBI and at the end of the session the feeling with the bike was much improved, allowing me to make good time, so I had the feeling of being down to just under 1 and 39 from , but then dropped a few drops of rain and I decided to close the throttle and not take risks. Also in the last few laps I was able to push again but it took me a little 'time to warm up the tires and I did. The good thing is that I know that we still have much room for improvement and tomorrow I will realize this potential, I am sure we can do it. It 'a technical track, and the secret to being fast is to find the correct lines, so tomorrow I'll work on that. "
