Marc Marquez after the podium finish at home, at the Circuit de Catalunya two weeks ago, ranks second in the standings, two points behind leader Thomas Luthi. Marquez got his first pole in Moto2 Silverstone, and in 2010 he got the victory in 125cc. This weekend, Marquez will race with only one goal ahead, victory.
Marquez said, "I really wanted to start practice for the Grand Prix of Great Britain. Silverstone is a circuit that I like and I keep good memories there. It gives me quite well, but we have to wait and see what happens over time."
He continue, "I wish a dry weekend there. We have prepared much better this race. After Catalunya, I could not train normally, something I couldn't do for prevention after the fall on Le Mans."
