Turning point for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team

Yuki Takahashi Sachsenring 2012

Mugello will be the last of the three back-to-back European races that began in Holland at the TT Assen, followed by the German GP at Sachsenring. The Italia GP is the home race for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team and couldn’t come at a better time for Colin Edwards and his Suter-BMW bike.

With some of the electronic problems solved and having found a good setting for both wet and dry conditions, the NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team is ready for the ninth round of the season. The team’s goal this weekend will be to be the best CRT on the grid.

Positive prospects for Moto2 where Alex De Angelis and Yuki Takahashi will be able to get more kilometers done to their FTR bikes. The FTR bikes have proved themselves to be very competitive after the Sachsenring win of the rider from San Marino. Last season at this very track Alex almost made it to the podium in the Moto2 race, while in the past he had achieved 3 podiums while riding in the 250cc category.

Yuki has proved to have made great improvements during this past weekend and now will be able to take full advantage of his new bike at a race track where he has always been within the points since he started riding in the Moto2 category.
