Fenati and Tonucci head to Germany to improve their results after Assen The MotoGP calendar is thick with events, as the "circus" heads to Germany right after Holland: another historical track awaits the "azzurri" riders.
Romano Fenati (Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) is facing yet another unknown track: however, he has already proved his learning skills in the past, which are speeding up his apprenticeship in the MotoGP circuit, where he is a rookie. Romano had a good race after a poor qualifying session in Assen (he was on sixth row): he ran at the front early on and closed in 12th position, scoring 4 points and consolidating his fourth spot in the general standings (where he also leads among the rookies). In Germany, he aims to get a better spot on the grid and fight at the front, which he has already proved he's capable of doing.
Alessandro Tonucci (Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#19) also heads to Sachsenring to redeem a difficult week-end and reap the fruits of his hard work. In Assen he qualified in 15th position and soon engaged in the battle at the front. The tyres, however, betrayed him and relegated him to the 22nd position in the end.
