Just a few days after his disappointment at missing out on the opportunity to score a top result in the Dutch TT Ratthapark Wilairot makes the short journey across the border into Germany this weekend with the chance to put things right at the Sachsenring. The Team Thai Honda PTT Gresini Moto2 rider improved his pace and his feeling with the Suter chassis at the Dutch TT and he is looking forward to putting his progress into action again this weekend.
Ratthapark Wilairot “First of all I want to apologise again to Tom Luthi for involving him in my crash. I am still very disappointed about the race at Assen because I was in good shape to have a solid race after such a good start but the crash ruined everything. However I am even more convinced that I can be fighting in the top ten and I am determined to do it. Hopefully we get nice warm weather in Germany because I prefer these conditions. I don't particularly like the track but I will try to push hard and put Assen behind me. That would be a good way to change my opinion of Sachsenring. "
Fausto Gresini “In Barcelona and at Silverstone 'Feem' was able to show his top fifteen potential and we saw it again in Holland, it was just a shame about the crash. We were all disappointed about that but the important thing is that his progress is constant and we know he is now capable of a good result this weekend to put the disappointment of Assen behind us.”
