Today at Valencia sees the final day of a long and successful seven-year collaboration between Honda Gresini and San Carlo. With technology and passion at the heart of their relationship the two companies have enjoyed over 100 Grands Prix together, with San Carlo President Mr Alberto Vitaloni and Fausto Gresini creating the synergy for an exciting and emotional era together, which was also marked by great sadness due to the death of Marco Simoncelli. Unfortunately all good things come to an end but the mutual respect and affection will remain, as will the memories of a fantastic project together.

To lose a person like Marco, who was always more of a friend to us than a rider, brought great suffering. I would like to thank Fausto and all his staff. It was a pleasure and an honour to work with you and our time together will always be one of my greatest memories.”
