Corti and Edwards in the points at Sepang

Colin Edwards MotoGP Sepang 2013

Claudio Corti finishes in 13th place after starting the race in 14th, losing 6 positions in the first few laps due to a mistake that almost caused him to crash.  The Italian then concentrated in regaining positions but did not manage to have the race pace he expected. Corti looks forward to the Philip Island race and to improving this weekend’s results.

Colin Edwards jumped the start and performed the mandatory ride through during lap 4 rejoining the race in 23rd place. The Texas Tornado then initiated a remarkable comeback and crossed the finish line in 15th position, taking one point for the team. The American rider showed a very consistent race pace of 2´04.4s, and if had it not been for the jump-start, could have probably finished the race as Top CRT at Sepang.

The 16th round of the season will take place next week at Philip Island.

Claudio Corti
“It has been a hard race, I had a good start but on the second lap while trying to overtake Hernandez I lost the front in turn 7 and I lost the feeling with the bike on braking. I feel I could have done better, I was not expecting to have a race pace of high 2´05s and low 2´06s, I was expecting to be a bit faster. Throughout the race the chatter got accentuated with the heat causing me to lose feeling on braking on entering the turn. I have finished in 13th position, taking some points, I feel I could have been battling with Aoyama but all in all I am happy because I have never been really performing at this track. We now go next to Australia more motivated than ever to improve our results.”

Colin Edwards
“First time I have ever jumped the start which is why you just don’t jump the start, because it’s stupid. I don’t know what happened, I think I blinked, I was ready to go, I blinked and I flinched.  Anyways, I came in and did my ride through and from that point on I just put my head down and give it everything I had. Once I got behind Barbera and Petrucci I got going. On the last corner Petrucci ran a little deep and I got under him and I got a point. I had a good race pace and it’s really disappointing thinking that I could have been top CRT today by looking at the lap times. It is probably the best race I’ve had here, we had the bike working good.  Thanks to my team, they have worked really hard this weekend to get the electronics and chassis right. I’m looking forward to going to Australia and not jumping the start.”

Colin Edwards – 5

Edwards Qualifies as Best CRT at Brno

Colin Edwards MotoGP Brno 2013

The NGM Mobile Forward Racing team gets to participate in Q2 at the Brno circuit. For the second time this season Colin Edwards qualifies as best CRT this season. The American rider seems to have found the right feeling with his FTR – Kawasaki bike, allowing him to start tomorrow’s race from the 4th row of the grid at Brno in 12th place.

Teammate Claudio Corti will start the race from the 18th position after a series of problems suffered during the afternoon session, making it impossible for him to repeat the morning lap times.  After making a series of modifications that did not work out as expected the Italian is now focusing on going over today’s data in order to solve these problems before tomorrows qualifying.

Colin Edwards – 12th (1´58.392) 4th row
“Honestly when we rolled out yesterday we knew the bike had potential, we just had to play around with it, work with what we more or less found at Laguna and Indy. Today was a couple of tweaks here and couple clicks there and we made the bike work better. I could string 1´58.7s and 1´58.8s together so went out there, put my head down, new tires, did the first lap and honestly thought that I could maybe do 1´58.4s and when I saw 1´58.1 I thought that was pretty quick. Its over half a second quicker than I’ve gone all weekend. My team has been doing an awesome job, we have been understanding this bike better specially in terms of the electronics and its all coming together, being a little patience and we finally got this bike working, I am happy about it.”

Claudio Corti – 18th (1´59.062) 6th row
“The morning session went really well today but during the afternoon session I struggled a lot, unable to replicate the morning lap times. During FP4 we tried new modifications that did not end up being useful and the change in temperature of the track has probably prevented me from being any faster. I am aware that in turn one is where I lose all my time compared to Colin: I have to find the right line in order to try to improve my lap times. I don’t know if I should be either sad or happy given that if I had been a two point five tenth faster I could have finished in 14th place. We will shave to wait to see what happens tomorrow, they say that it might rain tomorrow. I would like to congratulate Colin for today’s good performance and for taking the team back to parc fermé as best CRT. Lets see what happens tomorrow.”

Colin Edwards Wants to Repeat Memory at Sachsenring

Colin Edwards MotoGP Assen 2013

Colin Edwards and Claudio Corti want to leave behind a rather complicated weekend at Assen, maintaining a positive mindset to repeat the results achieved at Barcelona.

Both riders look forward to the German GP with set goals: to get inthe points and improve last year’s result of second best CRT.

Colin Edwards - 5
“I like the Sachsering track, we actually had a decent result last year there. The German fans have always been special too so its always fun to go. Looking forward to it.”

Claudio Corti – 71
“I go to Sachsenring after a difficult race at Assen but feeling confident for this eighth round and hoping we will have something new to use this weekend. The goal remains to get in the points and reduce the gap with the ART bikes. The German track is not particularly one of my favorite ones but I will still give it 100%.”

Edwards in the points and Corti constrained to retire at Mugello

Claudio Corti, Colin Edwards MotoGP Mugello 2013
The NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team’s home race at Mugello comes to anend with Colin Edwards in fourteenth position and Claudio Corti constrained toretire.

The American rider manages to take points for the second time this seasonwith the FTR – Kawasaki bike after a very intense race. The team decided tomake considerable modifications to the bike during the warm up that turned outto be very good during the race but Edwards still feel the bike is missingpower on exiting the corners.

Italian rider Claudio Corti was not able to cross the finish line atMugello due to problems with the electronics of the bike, as the tractioncontrol stopped working seven laps before the end of the race. Very unlucky day for the Italian riderduring his home race, as while he was in fourteenth position a bee stung him, causing him considerable pain throughout the rest of the race.

Both riders and the team look forward to the Montmelo GP that will takeplace in two weeks time in Barcelona and set as their goal to have both ridersin the points.

Colin Edwards – 14thPosition
“I thought I had a pretty good start and a few laps in Claudio got by meon the straight. Sat behind him for a few laps knowing that we both could go alittle bit quicker. Got behind him and pushed as hard as I could, got passedhim, passed Laverty and then Hernandez, it was a hard race. We loose out to thepop off the corner, I would like to be able to let go more of the brake becausefollowing some of these guys and seeing how they can just roll through while sometimesI have to keep load on the front. Today was kind of strange, normally we wouldrun a setting all weekend and run minor changes on Sunday morning but we trieda completely new length and swing arm that we were going pretty good allweekend on, it was definitely better for sure.  We are constantly testing at every race. Thanks to all theguys in the team they have worked very hard.”

Claudio Corti – Not classified
“It is a real shame to finish the home race in the pits, it reallywasn’t the scenario that I had in mind. During the warm up the bike seemed to beworking all right but it wasn’t the case during the race. During the first lapsI thought I was fast, I overtook Colin and Laverty and thought I was doingrelatively well. After a few laps Colin overtook me. While riding behind him Icould see that his bike did not slide as much as mine, making me want to usethe traction control a bit more but after a few laps the traction controlstopped working. As the tank was getting emptier it became harder to ride thebike. The problems with the electronics almost made me crash twice and decidedto retire to prevent a serious crash. I didn’t see the need to take such a riskto finish the race in eighteenth place. We will analyze the data and do whatits necessary to be ready for Barcelona.”

NGM Mobile Forward Racing riders await the fourth round at Le Mans

Colin Edwards Jerez MotoGP 2013

The fourth round of the season will take place onFrench soil at the Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans thisnext weekend.

Colin Edwards is no stranger to the podium at Le Mans;both in 2005 and 2008 he finished in third place. The American rider enjoysriding at Le Mans and looks forward to riding on his FTR-Kawasaki bike thisweekend. Teammate Claudio Corti also knows what it feels like to be on thepodium here. The Italian rider had a podium finish last year while riding inthe Moto2 category and would like to take his first MotoGP points at the thisvery same track.

In Moto2, our NGM riders Simone Corsi, Alex DeAngelis and Mattia Pasini have previously been on the podium at Le Mans, all ofthem managing a third place in 2010, 2007 and 2008 respectively. All threeItalians are eager to repeat their results at Le Mans. Their Spanish teammateRicky Cardús was unable to finish the race in his previous visits to Le Mansbut hopes that this year will be the turning point for him at the French track.

Colin Edwards -5
“Looking forward to Le Mans, I can’t say Jerezwas perfect but we at least got on the score board and looking to build on thatmomentum. We have a few new things that we want to try with FTR. Le Mans is atrack that for some reason I have always gone good at so lets get rolling!”

Claudio Corti –71
“During the two-day test we found a few thingsthat work well, allowing us to have a faster pace and allowing me to ride thebike a little better. Le Mans is a track at which I was able to come in secondlast year in rain conditions so I have good memories there. Its probably notone of my favorite tracks but I enjoy riding there and the warmth of the Frenchfans. Look forward to being out on track there.”

Simone Corsi – 3
“After this last race I expect to dobetter at Le Mans. We have definitely struggled at Jerez but knowing that LeMans is a completely different track we hope to do better. We had a two-daytest at Estoril after Jerez that has allowed us to come up with new solutionsfor our bike. I have high expectations for this race.”

Alex De Angelis - 15
“TheGrand Prix of Le Mans has always been on the most difficult ones giving itsweather conditions. The cold and the rain are recurring visitors at this track. We will start the weekend with a different setting that we tested last week onat Estoril and that we hope will be convenient for the French circuit.”

Mattia Pasini –54
“We are ready for the Le Mans race. Since lastweek’s test at Estoril we can’t wait to get out on track again. With the teamand SpeedUp we have done important improvements that allow us to believe in thepossibility of making a big step. We are focused and feel ready for the race onSunday and we hope to improve our results from Jerez, which were under ourexpectations.”

Ricky Cardús - 88
“Iam very concentrated for the Le Mans race. After the results I had in Jerez Ijust want to go out on track and get started on work. I believe that Le Manscan be a good track for our bike.”

Colin Edwards in the Points at the Jerez GP

Colin Edwards Jerez MotoGP 2013

The Jerez GP comes to an end and the NGM Mobile Forward Racing will leave Spain with the first point of the season after Colin Edwards overtook both his teammate Claudio Corti and Danilo Petruci on the last lap with his FTR-Kawasaki, finishing in fifteenth position.

After being constrained to retire during the first two races of the season in Qatar and Austin, the American rider not only finished the race but also the first point of the season for the team.

Claudio Corti started the race in twenty-second position and made it to fourteenth position in the first two laps, to later leave the points area halfway through the race. Towards the end of the race the Italian rider was engaged in a battle for fifteenth position and ended up overtaken and ended the race in seventeenth position.

Colin Edwards – 15th
“What a day, the start was terrible. We did a little suspension change before the race to try to get more traction. Once the race started I got going and it was all about management, try to stay between the lines and be smooth and trying to carry as much momentum as possible. If I tried to square it off it seemed likeit would go straight to spin in and the traction control would kick in and wouldn’tgo anywhere. I rode as fast as I could and we got our first point of theseason. I don’t seem to get along with this track to begin with so I am looking forward to Le Mans I really like that track. We need to keep working.”

Claudio Corti – 17th
“During the race I had the same problem that I had during the winter test: after the first few laps the rear tire causes a lot of vibration. I tried to decrease it by changing the electronics setting during the race and since it didn’t work so I went back to the original setting. I enjoyed myself in the last few laps with Petruci because I wanted that first point. I passed him at brake points a few times.  A pity because I think I could have kept a pace of 1´42.500 but wasn’t able to in the end. The increase of the track temperature in the afternoon decreased the grip and traction. Tomorrow during the test we will be working on the conditions of thefirst half of the race, riding with a full tank since I seem to loose a lot of time concentrating on keeping the bike up. I struggle at the start and towards the end of the race I improve performance. The Avintia bikes, that are exactly the same as ours, managed to establish a twenty seconds gap, that is a second per lap faster. Congratulations to Colin on his first point ofthe season.”

NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team headed to Jerez for first European GP

Claudio Corti Austin MotoGP 2013

The third round of the 2013 seasontakes the championship to Jerez de la Frontera the first European race of theseason. The first Spanish race could be the turning point for the team’s CRTriders and a further improvement our riders in the Moto2 category.

Colin Edwards, unable to cross thefinish line in the first two races of the season sees Jerez as the perfectopportunity to show the potential for the FTR-Kawasaki package. His teammateClaudio Corti looks forward to racing at Jerez, a track that he knows betterand allows him to be confident in improving his results.

In Moto2 Simone Corsi looks forwardto putting up a good fight among the fastest riders. Alex de Angelis wants thefocus on a better performance during qualifying, which seems to be the mainweakness for him and his crew. Mattia Pasini hopes to maintain the momentumfrom Austin and make another step forward and Ricky Cardús looks forward to thefirst Spanish race.

ColinEdwards – 5
“I am really looking forward toJerez, obviously after our last couple of races it would be nice to get afinish and it has been a race at which I had a podium at before, had some goodmemories there. Obviously being the first European race everybody kind of getsin the grove and settles in and starts working. Looking forward to it!”

ClaudioCorti – 71
“We come back to Jerez after two very tough races. We have some data from Jerez because of the test we did during pre season andwith a few more kilometers, a few improvements and an evolution since that lasttest, we can surely hope for slightly better results. This circuit is not oneof my favorites but I have done relatively well here in the past.”

SimoneCorsi – 3
“On Sunday we will race at Jerez, a circuit atwhich we have tested a lot during the pre season. I expected something morefrom the first two races, we got only a few points but I am hopeful and remainoptimistic for this next race at Jerez because during the weekend in Texas weproved to be fast during all weekend. We have to work in order to reduce thegap with the front guys. The team is doing a great job!”

AlexDe Angelis – 15
“After the comeback during the Texas GP both theteam and I hope that the setup used during the American race can be adapted tothe Jerez circuit. We have to work a lot in order to be ready for thequalifying session, which at the moment seems to be our weak spot, we areworking towards it and look forward to prove it in the near future.”

Mattia Pasini – 54
“We are ready forJerez after a very good performance in Austin that allows us to hope for goodresults. I was able to have a good race pace with the bike in Texas and a goodfeeling with the bike, ideal conditions for us to make another step forward.”

Ricky Cardús - 88
“It’s an importantrace for me, the first European race and I can’t wait to be there with all theSpanish fans. Right now I feel much better physically even if I am stillrecovering. I know it will not be easy for us to be in the front group but thefeeling with the bike has improved and I want to race!”

Edwards and Corti take it one step at a time at COTA

Colin Edwards Austin MotoGP 2013
The lowtrack temperature caused the riders to lack grip during the morning practiceand made the team reconsider the setting that they used during the Qatar racetwo weeks ago. The temperature increase for the second session made the morningwork irrelevant but allowed both the Texan and Italian rider to get more lapsin at COTA.

Theelectronics fine-tuning and the data from this first day of practice will bekey in order to make the necessary adjustments for tomorrow’s third practiceand qualifying sessions.

Colin Edwards–  (2´12.50)
“Itsobviously new track. The first session was a little sketchy; I think we had 20degree centigrade on the ground. This morning just getting along the track wegot some ideas and in the second practice, instead of holding station with thesetting we knew kind of works we decided to soften the rear, make some changesfor the problems we were having with cold temperature while obviously it was 40when we went back out there for the second session. We just started off wrongand tried to use the rest of the session to go back to where we were. The goodnews is we got more laps in and got to know the track a better. We need to goover the data and make it better for tomorrow.”

ClaudioCorti -  (2´10.72)
“This firstday when ok, we have improved a lot during the second practice session but westill have to keep working on the electronics, specially in terms of theacceleration. All an all, we are working really well, would still like to be abit faster but I took some time during the session because we needed to testthe front tires and ended up not being the right choice.  We need to work on keeping a good paceand make the bike a little easier to ride but for being on a new track forfirst time I think we are doing good so far.”

SergioVerbena – MotoGP Technical Director
“Today wasthe first day on this new track and we didn’t have any references for thiscircuit so we started the first session with the Qatar setting. This morningthe track temperature was very cold so we didn’t have much grip, we struggledto find the grip to manage the situation. This afternoon the situation wascompletely opposite, the temperature rose from 20 degrees to 40 degrees Celsiusso the grip was good and the job we did during the morning was lost. Claudio hada good session, had good lap times and showed consistency. Colin struggled withthe setting of the bike so we need to work to make him more comfortable to befaster tomorrow, we know he can be faster. We will look over the data and seewhat needs to be improved for tomorrow.”

Colin Edwards Losail MotoGP 2013

The second race of the season takes NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team to the Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) in Texas. The inaugural GP race in Texas will have a very special connotation for our MotoGP rider Colin Edwards. The American rider, also known as the “Texas Tornado” will be attending his very first home race.

The Texas Tornado and teammate Claudio Corti are in turn, eager to arrive at the Texan circuit. Both Edwards and Corti will be experiencing the track for the first time with their FTR-Kawasaki as of Friday. Both riders look forward to this second race of the season.

Colin Edwards – 5
“I´m really excited about the Austin GP, it will be the first GP I´ve ever driven to which is awesome. As far as expanding the audience we´ve had one out west side, one on the east side and now we get to have one south. I´ve got a lot of friends, a lot of family coming and I am looking forward to it. It should be good!”

Claudio Corti -71
“I always look forward to going to a new circuit, its like entering into a brand new playground when you are a little kid. I expect it to be s tought weekend since we have no data on this new track but will the experience adquired in Qatar I go into this race cold headed and confident about the team´s potential and my own.”

Simone Corsi - 3
“After the positive start in Qatar I am optimistic for the race in Austin! Its a new circuit for everyone and it will be key to find the best possible setting right away and memorize the track and the best line to follow. I had a good feeling with the bike on the first race and I hope to make a bigger step this weekend to be able to fight for the podium.”

Alex De Angelis - 15
"Its hard to make any assesments on how the race will go at Austin, Its a new circuit for all of us but in the past I have always been able to adapt to new tracks rapidly. I will do my best to improve the results from the first race in Qatar.”

Mattia Pasini - 54
“After an unlucky weekend in Doha I go very motivated into this second race of the season at Austin. We have to fix a few little problems in order to be  as fast as we would want this weekend. With the work plan we have set with the team  I believe we can be very competitive."

Ricky Cardùs - 88
“I am happy to be riding for the first time at this circuit. Its a race track that I have only seen photos of  and so far has impressed me. Its a shame that I am not completely recovered from the Qatar crash but I hope that this last few days before the race will do the trick. It will be a fun race, I´m lookign forward to racing in America, a country that I really enjoy visiting and where I hope to improve my race results from Qatar.”

First race and first step for Edwards and Corti

Colin Edwards Losail MotoGP 2013

The first race of the season has come to an end under for the NGM Mobile ForwardRacing riders Colin Edwards and Claudio Corti in Qatar.

Both the American rider and Italian rider have improved their feeling with their FTR– Kawasaki bikes. Unfortunately neither one of them was able to take the first points of the season during this first race. Corti finished sixteenth one position away from the points after having an impressive start of the race where he gained seven positions within the first few laps while Edwards was constrained to retire due to a technical problem.

Claudio Corti – 16th
“I made a really good start and was convinced of being able to have a race pace of 1´58. I was very motivated and determined to stay close to the Aprilias and fight with the other FTRs. Just after the start I managed to take some positions but my eagerness to be close to De Puniet caused me to go long on the first turn. While coming back in I must have damaged the front rim with the curb and caused me to have vibrations.A real shame because I was convinced of being able to have a good race. We had a few problems from the tenth lap, a problem that we have had throughout the winter and the time has come to solve it. We can do better; we have the potential both in terms of the bike and as a team. This is only the first race and we have already gotten really close to the points.”

Colin Edwards – Not Classified
“We made a change just before the race, went a little bit harder on the front forks spring and the bike was fantastic. It did everything right tonight. I started the race feeling confident and tried to heat up the clutch to get it to slip and it didn’t slip at all so then I had to readjust and lost positions. The start was terrible, saw the guys in front of me and started to make some moves. I saw Barbera and Hernandez there and by the time that I got around they had pulled a little bit and managed to come back at them but with seven laps to go I had an issue in turn 10 and I shift down to fifth and it would come back to forth so I would have to shift again and it either broke the front sprocket. I was lucky the chain didn’t lockup the wheel. Thanks to my team, my bike felt good today,we were just unlucky.”

Also present at the event Moto2 constructor SpeedUp Factory CEO Luca Boscoscuro. The riders expressed their eagerness to begin the season and commented on the winter tests at Valencia, Jerez and Sepang.

Giovanni Cuzari – CEO/ Team Owner
“The same way that NGM has become famous for having doubled the SIM on the cell phones, we will like to do the same doubling the number of riders in our team! In the case of the CRT the long-term goal is to maintain the visibility on track even in the case of suffering “inconveniences” and creating a team that has an appealing format for a prospect constructor that might eventually become interested. It is obvious that having two riders allows the team to develop the CRT prototypes at a faster pace. In the Moto2 category our expectations are others, we want to see our visibility double, which would be otherwise difficult to do in such a crowded category, where the results are the key factor to visibility. This is how we arrived to having six riders; 2 riders in CRT and 4 in Moto2, riding with the same colors under the hope of providing satisfaction to those that believe in us.”

Marco Curioni – Managing Director
“Its a great feeling to get a new season started. We are a young team and every year has been a new challenge that has lead to a constant growth by following the opportunities that have been presented to us. We believe in a sustainable economical system in which our sponsors support the team economically but are guaranteed a return of their investment in terms of visibility. A system in which our riders, true leading characters of this sport, can concentrate on training and being performing instead of being on the constant lookout for personal sponsors. A system in which out technicians, can rely on the security/tranquility provided by the continuity that allow us to make of this common passion a professional job other than only concentrating prestige and visibility.”

Stefano Nesi - CEO President of NGM Italia
"NGM Mobile is synonymous of research and innovation in a challenging industry. Our main goal has been to introduce the Dual SIM system in a mature and complex market. We have been able to do so by differentiating ourselves from our competitors in such a way that it has allowed us the chance of conquering top position in the Italian market. Today we are proud of presenting the six riders and bikes of the team ready to ride with the NGM colors for the second year in a row for both the Moto2 and the MotoGP categories. Colin Edwards and Claudio Corti will represent the team in MotoGP and this season Alex De Angelis will be joined by; Simone Corsi, Mattia Pasini and Ricky Cradús for a very exciting season. The presence of our team with four ambitious riders in the Moto2 class will surely increase the visibility of our brand throughout the season not only in Italy but also around the world, allowing NGM to reach other parts of the globe.”

Not Much Action for CRT at Sepang

Danilo Petrucci Pit Sepang 2013
Extra two days for CRT team at Sepang wasn't going well. After some technical problem at day one, today (local time) at Sepang, the test was interrupted by rain. Only Danilo Petrucci did more action on the track than the other riders

Came IodaRacing
Danilo Petrucci did 27 laps on day one for Came IodaRacing. Petrucci tested the new ECU. Meanwhile his new teammate Lukas Pesek only stayed at the pit. On the day two, Lukas Pesek did a few laps and share the ECU with Petrucci.

Avintia Racing
Both Hector Barbera and Hiroshi Aoyama made some laps on the day one after they got a wiring loom issue. Unfortunately Hiroshi Aoyama still felt some pain, so he couldn't continue and decided to enter pit. Hiroshi Aoyama doesn't take the day two test due to fitness problem. While Hector Barbera managed 20 laps once the rain settled down, finishing the day second quickest behind Petrucci.

NGM Forward Racing
NGM Forward Racing was slowed by a late delivery of parts on day one. Colin Edwards and Claudio Corti could only stand around and watch as the team finished their work throughout the day. On the day two, both riders made a few laps to gather information from the ECU

AGP Racing Mugello Review: Nakagami Seventh, Corti Ninth

Takaaki Nakagami Mugello 2012

A weekend really hard to define, and that experienced the worst day on Saturday when, during qualifying, the team was unable to get a result rewarding for the work done, the energies used, the expectations.

On Sunday morning, in the warm-up, the team has nevertheless raised its head, with Claudio fourth, two-tenths off the best time, and Takaaki seventh, just over three tenths. It was a sign that the GP of Italy could change direction. But, once again, the mechanism jammed. At least in part. While Takaaki had a good start, passing riders and getting at a point the leadership of the race, Claudio Corti was forced instead to an off due to a maneuver by an opponent. He rejoined the race in 30th position, and ended in 9th.

A comeback you do not see that often, that left the team uncertain about whether let prevail surprise for the performance, or anger because the effort could not led where it should. Claudio’s fastest lap, clocked at lap 3, was bettered only at the sixteenth. He lapped constantly to the rhythm of the first ones. Back on track with a delay of 24 seconds, crossed the finish line with a gap almost halved. As he himself said, after the race, “there are no more excuses: we must win.”

Takaaki Nakagami (39’56 “948 -7th ) ” For the first time in a Moto2 race, I found myself leading it. A great feeling. Other times I had a good start, but never like this. All things have come easily. I had a big advantage over all guys on the brakes, and suffered just at the end, when the front tire was very bad. This was the team’s home Grand Prix, and also mine, in a way. I’m very happy that I had the first taste of a first position right here. ”

Claudio Corti (40’05 “340 – 9 th) ” I was resolute – I wanted to win. And after being forced to run wide and re-join almost in last position, I said to myself: let’s have fun. I have been supported by an outstanding team work. I know: no more excuses. I must win ”
